Dear Parents:
In addition to the supplies provided by St. Mary Magdalen School, your child will need the following school supplies for the coming school year. Please have these items ready for school use on the first day. Thank you.
PENS & PENCILS
6 - sharpened pencils
1 - eraser
2 - colored pens (for self-correcting papers)
1 - yellow highlighter
Optional: Mechanical pencils
MARKERS & CRAYONS
Crayons (box of 24 or less)
Colored pencils (box of 12 or less)
1 - box colored markers (12 or less)
2 - dry erase markers (black)
GLUES & GLUE STICKS
2 - glue sticks
1 - bottle glue (Elmer's or similar)
PAPER (LOOSE-LEAF & JOURNALS) NO BINDERS (they will be sent home)
Loose-leaf WIDE-RULED paper
(on hand at all times!)
1 package post-it-notes 3”x 3” (400 ct.)
2 - 100-sheet wireless composition books
2 - 3-subject notebooks

BACKPACK
Backpack NO WHEELS ALLOWED!!!!!! Children will not need them as we do not send textbooks back and forth; they are also dangerous (a tripping hazard) and a nuisance in the hallways as well as challenging to store during the day
MISCELLANEOUS
*Please mark your child’s name on personal items with a permanent marker.
*Have available at home: 2 reg.-size and 2 jumbo-size Book Sox or similar (to cover non-consumable books). *Have available at home: Clear Contact Paper (to cover consumable books) – clear only; no colors please.
